What do you like best about Oracle Linux?

It is fully optimized to run Oracle's RDBMS platform, and nothing else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Linux?

Oracle Linux was a way for Oracle to try to force you into making an additional purchase. When originally launched they toyed with the idea of saying they only supported Oracle's RDBMS platform running on Oracle Linux, but were forced to change that perspective with the outcry of all Oracle users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Oracle Linux:

Look elsewhere, most *nix OS' will run Oracle perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
