Oracle JDeveloper is a core java and J2EE free integrated development environment which allows users to build software quickly.
Version control systems like GIT and SVN can easily be integrated with the JDeveloper.
Addition Plugins like Maven and Gradle are available for Dependency management.
It provides a complete solution for all phases of the software development lifecycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not suitable for large-scale complex applications.
It takes a lot of RAM from the system.

It helped me develop many Java codes and design SOA workflows using BPEL. This IDE actually enables the functionality of connecting to the target system and deploy the workflow as SAR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no such points to be mentioned that I dislike regarding JDeveloper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integrating software with Oracle technologies is one of the most useful features of Oracle JDeveloper. the visual development it offers on the development approach is also very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
while it has great integration with Oracle technologies, other third-party integration needs a little bit of work, it can be enhanced to create better outcomes for developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are many things to like about Oracle J Developer, but some of the best things include:
1. It is a free and powerful IDE for developing Java applications.
2. It comes with a built-in JRE, so you don't need to install one separately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any major dislikes about Oracle J Developer, but there are a few things that could be improved. For example, I would like to see better integration with other Oracle products (such as Oracle SQL Developer) and better support for third-party libraries and frameworks. Additionally, the interface could be more user-friendly and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a fully effective IDE for enhancing Java and industrial programs, including BPM and SOA. At the ADF level, it's a complicated but very intuitive framework as it manages the layout through layout and draggable components. As far as SOA offers within the new edition of 12-C, there is no need to implement an IDE like Eclipse, since the connections created there can now be made within JDeveloper without any delay. The database adapter is very useful and easy to use. Suitable for most J2EE initiatives and especially Oracle-related products like ADF, WCP and JSF Framework, etc. We can also develop/install SOA initiatives and the state-of-the-art model helps improve OSB. The good thing is that we can connect to the target servers and install them without any delay from within JDeveloper, which is very beneficial for the developers. quite heavy that slows execution in sturdy programs. Requires a pc with appropriate resources. It`s pretty hard to combine with third-party services. Too many capabilities confuse the person to select the most suitable improvement path. the high learning curve to use its features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing which i liked the most is its availability, that it is free to use and surf. There are a lot of platforms that require a subscription, but it is free; hence there are more number of users on this platform.
It has a vivid presentation style and a good interface for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It isn't easy to make an application on this platform as, in my opinion, it requires a lot of guidance and instructions, which make it challenging for beginners.
Sometimes it may freeze while using WYSIWYG editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
