What do you like best about Oracle Enterprise Manager?

OEM is one of the top notch application we are using it in our environment. It gives real time depth analysis report for continuous monitoring. we use OEM for to monitor our SOA stacks. we do use for DB monitoring for performance tuning. we high recommend OEM for large scale enterprise applications. What do you dislike about Oracle Enterprise Manager?

Despite the over experience is good, we do see some issues with the OEM schema DB's and performance been hit low some time. The loading time of all components takes 1 to 2 min which is quite bad for operation team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle Enterprise Manager?

Administrative tasks have been made easy, simple server implementation. Helps us with our database and middleware management.

Easy to install (solid documentation), also was impressed with the operating system Solaris 11. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Enterprise Manager?

Not able to run UI thru multiple browser clients. We have also had some hiccups when test driving the application where we needed to shutdown services and databases to get it started.

Another demerit is that EM12c R2 is certified with BI Publisher 11.1.1.6.0 only. Therefore in case you are using EM 12c R1 which is integrated with BI Publisher 11.1.1.5.0, you must upgrade the BI Publisher to 11.1.1.6.0 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
