What do you like best about Numeric?

Numeric's flux analysis tool is a lifesaver. It eliminates the need to run manual pivots in Excel on GL data. This saves our team a lot of time and helps us maintain a quick close cycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Numeric?

There is honestly next to nothing to dislike here. The software can sometimes be buggy, but that is expected with any software where features/fixes are rolled out quickly. What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?

Numeric allows accounting teams to effectively track the close (especially helpful for teams where different folks manage different parts of the close). The fluid links to Google sheets are beneficial for anyone reviewing work papers. The biggest issue Numeric solves for is time: more and more companies are looking for quick close cycles, and Numeric makes that easy (and frankly less stressful!) to achieve. "Numeric has been invaluable!"

What do you like best about Numeric?

Prior to using Numeric, we managed our monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities and reconciliations using spreadsheets. Some items were stored in Google Sheets, while others were stored on individual machines of employees. Now with Numeric we're able to keep EVERYTHING related to our financial close in a single place - closing tasks, adjusting journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, notes, etc. It's also provided visibility of management into the close process, whereas before we were using Slack updates to keep everyone informed of progress. What do you dislike about Numeric?

I can say honestly that I haven't come across a single issue or "dislike" with Numeric. I've been using the tool since it was in beta, and the company is incredibly receptive to customer suggestions and feature requests. They regularly reach out to customers individually to discuss what they'd like to see on the product roadmap. "Numeric is a gamechanger!"

What do you like best about Numeric?

It organizes the month-end close process and creates better management of tasks. I have always used spreadsheets to manage month-end in the past, and I will never go back. It has allowed us to close the books in just a few days because we are not chasing down information. We can link reports in the template to save time, and add links to specific monthly items that are needed for review. What do you dislike about Numeric?

What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?

No more spreadsheets! It creates an interactive checklist for month-end close, with assignments for completion and review. It keeps track of the status and sends reminders for tasks that are coming due or past due, and you can also reconcile within the system and generate reports based on the data from your GL. -Makes the organization of tasks super easy to monitor both others and myself

What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?

Numeric helps connect our finance and accounting teams like never before. It works for me individually and in a team capacity. Whether tracking my own tasks or checking the progress of other collaborative tasks Numeric has been perfect. The flux analysis has also made it incredibly easy to drill down into details of where our books have changed month over month. As such, I can ask more concise questions of our accounting team. What do you like best about Numeric?

* Easy to get up and running but also very flexible (recurring tasks, customer cadences, groupings, etc.)

* Integrates both with our ERP and Google Sheets (the Slack integration is 🔥)

What do you dislike about Numeric?

It would be great if we could set recurring schedules (prepaids, fixed asset tracking, etc.). But IIRC those are coming and not really needed to get immediate value on day 1. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An easy solution for month end close organization"

What do you like best about Numeric?

I was an early adopter of Numeric because I needed a way to keep my small accounting team organized around the monthly close and wanted a solution that would provide easy hyperlinks to all of our reports and processes. I found that Numeric achieved that easily along with features like recurring due dates, approvals, and commenting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
