Informatica has a great product, it has allowed us to implement 70 customer facing processes into legacy systems to provide customers real time transactions - Quite something in government. There are faster and better programming alternatives to informatica like spark etc on big data processing.

The ability to sync multiple business systems on different platforms, and in different geographic locations to sort and compare data elements. dashboard reporting and drill down capabilities are also excellent tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Informatica Cloud Data Integration?

The tool can, at times, be very slow. Additionally, the drill down lags and is difficult to know if the system is processing, locked up, or not doing anything at all. the buttons do not necessarily reset themselves on the dashboard when selecting a different element to drill down on. it is also important to properly label the data elements when setting up a dashboard. Recommendations to others considering Informatica Cloud Data Integration:

accurate data labeling and setup are important when using this tool. like any report writer, the ability to find the information desired and understanding what the various pieces are will go a long way toward effective use of this product. If you have a multiple hardware/OS environment and/or multiple vendors provided databases needed to integrate with or "UPS" like moving data between your system nodes, I strongly recommend you to use Informatica to achieve your company's goal.
