What do you like best about IBM webMethods API Management?
I have used web methods designer for my one Mobile application for which we are able to compile code for android and IOS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM webMethods API Management?

What do you like best about IBM webMethods API Management?
It is the best at what it provides in the market currently with ample features.
Its usage in cluster configuration and as a load balancer has been impecabble to say the least Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM webMethods API Management?
A bit laggy website which takes a lot of time to open and load.
There are certain actions which we would want to perform for native servers for performance overhead but its not present in webmethods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about this product is it is very user friendly and it provides almost every required feature which one needs to expose their API to external customerThe best part I liked was built in analytics feature and also it supports SOAP as well REST sevices. What do you like best about IBM webMethods API Management?
It is basically an API portal used to expose APIs to external developers or partners securely . What I most like is it supports both SOAP an REST services and also we can securely onboard customers as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM webMethods API Management?
The UI looks a bit complex as compared to other developer portals but rest everything is pretty good and I am enjoying using it and it provides a great service Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM webMethods API Management?
- Ease of Use : Someone with basic understanding of the APIs can easily understand and start working on the API Gateway. Comparitively I found the configurations quite intuitive.
- Separate threat protection layer : The product comes in 2 flavors, standard edition gateway and an advanced edition gateway. Standard edition is just a threat protection layer which can address various threat protection requirements while advanced gateway provides rich set of features for API Gateway configuration.
- Analytics : The product ships with a built-in Kibana that addresss the analytics requirements
- Access control made easy : Access control to each API can be controlled in a variety of ways, and they are all quite intuitive. This makes access control hassle free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM webMethods API Management?
- Heavy weight : From resource requirement perspective, it has reasonable high resource requirements which makes it not a first choice when it comes to deployment along with microservices. SoftwareAG has a micro gateway offering to address such requirements, but they fall short when it comes to features they offer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
