It starts very quick and is easy to use. One doesn't need commands or code for running this. There are lot of shortcuts to use from. the top tab has all the quick commands which could perform analysis easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM SPSS Modeler?
Visual type interface. Can handle somewhat bigger data sets than SPSS Base Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM SPSS Modeler?
Somewhat expensive considering other options and overall value. More difficult to use than SPSS base etc., manuals etc not user friendly, desk top version at least does not run to well with even slightly larger data sets and can crash. Claims to be able to handle text analytics and text mining well, but seems to be same overly simplistic approach to text analytics as offered in SPSS Text Analytics for Surveys (Stafs). SPSS Modeler combines enterprise level analytical power and flexibility with incredible usability. Not only does the tool feature both well known and widely used classifiers and algorithms, but offers the user an array of powerful proprietary options developed by IBM, a world leader in technology continually at the forefront of innovation. The sollution itself is nearly perfect for what it was designed. Challenges to usability originate in its proprietary regulation, notably the absence of license-free access to enable greater visibility and transparency from the standpoint of the open source community.
