What do you like best about HPE Aruba Networking Management?

Ease of finding information. Also the ease of monitoring our 1300+ APs in 40 instant clusters. Deploying firmware upgrades on schedules, bulk administration and configuration changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HPE Aruba Networking Management?

Airwave upgrades have been problematic the last several upgrades. It requires a call to TAC to troubleshoot the database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering HPE Aruba Networking Management:

Really look into AirWave if you need to manage more than one cluster/controller. Also look into it for the visibility into your network. Also make sure to license all the devices that will be connected. This includes each AP, along with each Controller/cluster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HPE Aruba Networking Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

Configuring 40+ clusters one at a time was a big headache. We were able to bring them all in under the AirWave umbrella. Now we can make mass changes and monitor APs and clients easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Creating alerts can be very complicated, especially to new users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HPE Aruba Networking Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm using it to back up my configurations for all of my Aruba Instant networks, send out alerts when a campus controller is down, and I monitor various things from clients connected to access points, to tracking down a lost wireless device that is still online. When logging in, it immediately shows me the number of down access points, along with new access points needing to be brought in to AirWave. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HPE Aruba Networking Management?

Easy to setup, Once adding controller to Airwave all access points provision to Aruba controller are also detected.

Visibility of Wi-fi users with details like AAA, RSSI, SNR value etc, provides the wifi team to dig deep into the issue cause for user.

custom reporting is the key feature of this device, using clarity we can have all details and logs if any issue of slowness and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HPE Aruba Networking Management?

When installed in Hyper-V, when ever any maintainence activity scheduled and need to power off the Airwave server then. Once you turn ON the VM every time you need to press enter(Human intervention is required) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had only integrated for wi-fi, I think it works with Wired devices, Best to have this product for Enterprises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Generating reports which are already customized as the organisation, Troubleshooting at L2 level and if not resolved escalate.
