What do you like best about Gogs?

Gogs is an excellent version tracking application that allows me to share the projects developed in the organization where I work for my collaborators. The best thing is that this platform can be run on Windows, Mac, Linux and others. I like the ease of the interface to load my repositories or make collaborations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gogs?

Your notification system does not work properly. There are colleagues who have made some collaborations in my projects and I have noticed why I enter to make any update to a project and I find that the program did not notify, however, it does not happen all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Gogs:

I recommend using Gogs especially if you want to be part of a fresh and minimalist platform to manage your codes and create repositories for all your projects. On its website you can find quite complete and acceptable documentation so that using this service is easy and pleasant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gogs solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my Github account I have accumulated so many projects that sometimes it is difficult to find one, so my employer suggested that I try Gogs as a version control system to manage my API codes and collaborate with my colleagues. This platform allows me to make confirmations in the branches of the code and resolve dependencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
