After getting the Student Developer pack from Github and then signing on to Azure as a student only, I got a lot of benefits, like a $100 credit for the first 12 months plus select free services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

While signing up or signing in, I faced problems despite entering valid credentials; authentications failed and declared the login to be a bad request and then after a few more attempts after signing in to GitHub first and then successfully being able to login to the Azure portal.
