"Arduino IDE"
What do you like best about Arduino IDE?

It works. That is the biggest thing. Beyond that, there is a lot of support for many Arduino-style microcontrollers, with many configuration options. Not to mention the ability to add new libraries, as well as Serial monitoring, example code, and more, the Arduino IDE is solid. The program is regularly updated and has a great community around it and the associated hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arduino IDE?

I've not come across anything with the Arduino IDE that I don't like. It has done everything I've ever needed, and then some. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The standard IDE for Arduino"
What do you like best about Arduino IDE?

Simple, but it gets the job done. Integrating libraries, choosing your board type, choosing the correct USB device... you can do all of them easily in Arduino IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arduino IDE?

More advanced features may require a more robust IDE. There is no debugging, no memory inspector, things of that nature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Arduino IDE?

It's a tiny tool with incredible possibilities and endless utilization Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arduino IDE?

Sometimes the USB port on my laptop doesn't identify the board, i have to try couple of times before i manage to see the board on the GUI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"As an Engineer, this really puts together every single thing!"
What do you like best about Arduino IDE?

I have been using Arduino IDE for a really long time and have been using it in projects as my code editor for electromechanical projects. This has a very concise display of notifications and ease of writing code with proper functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arduino IDE?

Sometimes, there is an issue with processing the data, and can take a little while to pop the results out Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The most easy to learn developer friendly IDE for Microcontroller programing"
What do you like best about Arduino IDE?

The most valuable features of the Arduino IDE are board management and library management. It is straightforward to set up. It supports all most all the microcontroller development boards in the market today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arduino IDE?

Arduino IDE does not fully support FreeRTOS and Zephyr, but I hope the maker of Arduino IDE will make it compatible with RTOS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"arduino ide for electronics"
What do you like best about Arduino IDE?

I like most about Arduino ide because of its easy use, it's easy to download the library for any sensor.

I used this in home automation.

And the best part is you can modify the library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arduino IDE?

some times it freezes with any sensor's reading Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My first ever embedded electronics experience"
What do you like best about Arduino IDE?

Arduino was one of the first things because of which I entered the semiconductor industry. I used Arduino during my college days; I constructed various projects using Arduino UNO, Dew. The more I learned about it, the more I fell into love with electronics. I owe my success to Arduino. Coming to the software, Arduino IDE is used to program Arduino. The primary language used is C-based. I love how it supports different baud rates so that PC and Arduino can get in sync. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arduino IDE?

The lack of proper documentation by the Arduino developers itself made my learning curve a lot more linear than exponential. Arduino is a great software to use and a great microcontroller, but the lack of a proper application document has made it a lot more challenging to use it. It does not have similar support as Raspberry Pi; I feel it needs to be more marketed. The most hated thing that I observed in Arduino was its lack of performing multi-threading/parallel processes in most of its Arduinos. Arduino Dew is capable of performing parallel processing, but it can not due to development limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best platform for iot projects"
What do you like best about Arduino IDE?

As I am working as embedded developer from past 3 years. I use Arduino as a basic tool before starting anything. Lots of example built-in as well as great community support and open source all the great thing in one place. I just use Arduino ide as core. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arduino IDE?

Old Arduino ide doesn't have auto complete like vs code. But the beta version having that function. I just like everything just one thing is missing from stable version is ' auto complete '. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
