What do you like best about Apache log4j?

Almost all the things about log4j is helpful in its own way but one thing I like to mention is its ability to generate/archive log files with meaningful filenames and log patterns.

Log4j is a powerful logging provider during development as well as in production environment.

we always come up with production issues where it becomes defficult to backtrack an exception but by implementing log4j it's just very seamless while tracking user path. We are using apache log 4j for logging our test scripts data. We have integrated Apache log 4j with selenium and logging all the error and information in the log file. Only we need to instantiate our logger class in the base class and load the log4j.properties files which include all the information from format to location.
