The lack of support for ACID transactions. DynamoDB does not support ACID transactions. This means that if you make a change to a record in DynamoDB, it is possible that the change will not be reflected in all of the replicas of the record. AmazonDynamoDB has some limitations and challenges. I have limited query support, expensive transactions and limited secondary indexing, which may require additional work. Another rule of AmazonDynamoDB is that it does not support complex transactions that involve multiple items or tables. Also, it is expensive since they are charged per read/write operation. Lastly, AmazonDynamoDB is designed to be a key-value store and does not support complex query operations like common SQL databases.
