Customers enjoy the benefits of DynamoDB’s fully-managed service including broad compliance standards, security integration with AWS Identity and Access Management and numerous disaster recovery services. With DynamoDB Global Tables, customers have a 99.999% highly available, multi-Region, multi-active database supporting local reads and writes for globally distributed users. DynamoDB provides cost management features such as scale-to-zero, Time to Live (TTL) for aging data out, and multiple pricing models including a free tier.

It allows to use auto scaling.

It allows in memory caching.

It is fast and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon DynamoDB?

It is not possible to add trigger.

It is very limited with queries.

Can only be used on AWS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon DynamoDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

We Use it for keeping terraform State ID.

We have used it in several Languages such as Java,php,python and most recently in Drupal.

Filtering of data, and no relationship between tables Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm using it to store huge number of documents and dockets, benefits what I'm getting is that I can store any amount of data for free and only pay for the documents requested by clients while retrieving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is no maintenance and no backup and especially it allows to replicate the data across multiple AWS regions in order to give fast and local access to data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
