1. It provides a good level of abstraction for beginners and someone just starting k8s journey.

2. Price transparency is there for startups to plan.

3. It can be integrated well using existing aws services.

1. Sometimes, it feels basic compared to what is possible with k8s.

Platforms like S3, EC2, EKS, and ASG provide the most intelligent and reliable service to cloud users. The sample architect guides have got a variety of use cases to refer to and implement in the prod-grade environment after testing enough in lower environments. Nice integration with existing AWS services like ELB, S3,RDS etc

Its easy to get started with k8s with the help of managed service like AWS EKS, that hides some internal complexity and reduces the learning curve.

EKS is priced as pay as you use, so its more cost effective for smaller workload and cost transperncy is there

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)?

vendor lock-in, like other AWS services there is vendor lock-in espcially if you use it with other AWS services like S3, dynamoDB, ELB etc and later on moving to some other cloud provider can be a daunting task for you.

Its not the cheapest service in the market and some of its competitors offers almost same functionality as a considerable less cost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)?

Earlier we were using EC2 to host our application backend APIs but our main problem was scaling, in peak hours we used to replicate our application on some other EC2s an update the traffic from Nginx settings, but this manual effort was hectic and random. So to minimise this issue we adopted EKS, it autoscales our system, we are using HPA for that, also it has nominal cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)?

Overall I haven't seen any disadvantage yet, but sometimes debuging it's issue becomes over head, like backoffs error, livelines, readiness errors, but its best practice to adopt this feature for best user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Cloud?

- It has almost every service which is needed in IT Industry

- AWS Do provide a Free tier that can be utilized for learning and basic usage

- Some services are unavailable in my region (ap-south-1 and ap-south-2) in such cases, we must use a different region which results in high latency.
