ECR makes it dead simple to create a repository to store Docker images. Once the repo is setup, it works seemlessly with with Docker tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR)?

It's relatively simple to use, however adds some management complexities in that you have to explicitly create repositories within the registry. However this allows you to manage access on a repository basis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Image size limits are hard limits. Normally this isn't an issue, however it makes it more difficult when you have to upload large images due to uncontrollable situations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Selecting ‘anyone can view’ makes images public rather than enabling Authenticated users in that account to view images. I feel like the permission should show public as to clearly define its permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
