What do you like best about Aiven for PostgreSQL?

Getting access to a database without the hassle of setting up a server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aiven for PostgreSQL?

I've not clearly come to terms with what is the actual benefit of aiven compared to AWS for instance - apart from what I said above. Will have to argue about this with my collegues, because they are favouring AWS. In the meantime I hope to get answers by using the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Aiven for PostgreSQL solving and how is that benefiting you?

My task was to get going with a database rather quickly. Being a startup ourselves we had to get our prototype up in a matter of days. This goal could be reached. Lets see, where we get from there. Next task is refactoring the database without interruption to the product we have so far - hope to be able to achieve this with database forking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes we don't like to upgrade new version very soon.

When Maintenance updates completed, and ready to install to implement new version, our DB sometimes periodically shutdown in the nights. then the DB is upgraded to new version automaticaly when is turn on, which is our didn't like it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
